SMS Notification Program
Order of Mithras, Inc. operates an SMS notification program to communicate club announcements, event reminders, and dues notices to its members through the Mithras Mobile application.
Program Description
By opting in to SMS notifications within the Mithras Mobile app, members consent to receive text messages from Order of Mithras sent from our designated toll-free number. Messages may include:
- Club announcements and officer communications
- Upcoming event reminders
- Dues payment reminders and deadline notices
- Annual ball notices and updates
- Urgent member alerts
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on club activity. Members can expect approximately 30 messages per year. Frequency may be higher during active ball season or when time-sensitive matters arise.
Costs
Msg & data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan. The Organization does not charge members for SMS messages beyond standard carrier rates.
How to Opt In
Members opt in to SMS notifications exclusively through the Notification Preferences screen in the Mithras Mobile app. Opt-in is voluntary. The SMS toggle is off by default. Members must actively enable the toggle after reviewing the required disclosure language displayed in the app. Opt-in is not required for app access or membership in good standing.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive any further SMS messages from Order of Mithras. You may re-enable SMS notifications at any time through the Mithras Mobile app.
You may also disable SMS notifications through the Notification Preferences screen in the app at any time without texting STOP.

Privacy
Your mobile phone number is used solely to deliver the SMS notifications described in this policy. Order of Mithras does not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS opt-in records, including the date and method of consent, are retained for five (5) years for carrier compliance purposes. Carrier
SMS messages are delivered using Twilio Inc. on behalf of Order of Mithras. Standard SMS carrier terms and your wireless provider's policies apply. Order of Mithras is not responsible for delays or failures in SMS delivery caused by carrier networks or device settings.
Changes
We may update these SMS Messaging Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to opted-in members through the app and will be reflected in the updated document at orderofmithras.com/legal/sms-terms.
